Well, the roof is done! It looks so nice. I'll post pictures later. We are getting new rain gutters and wrapping the wood with aluminum/vinyl so that we don't have to paint anymore. So, when that is done, I'll post pictures of the final exterior. Our fourth was really nice. The roof was done by the third because we got an early start so we were able to mostly relax. We enjoyed ruben sandwiches with the Brooks clan then went to the fire works here in town. They were spectacular!! A couple filled the whole sky--I'm serious. Megan said it felt like we were in a bird cage.
Well, I may be "off the grid" for a while. I am spending my July writing lesson plans. I have ten done and only have 150 left to go. I'm being realistic and knowing I won't get them all done but I want to be as ahead as possible. My kids are being such troopers. They play outside, at friends, or in their rooms so I can concentrate on my work. I don't mean to brag but, I have the best kids out there.
I'm looking forward to the McClure reunion on Aug. 2nd. It's been so long since we've been together so we're going to have a blast catching up.
